The NP/PA shall be responsible and accountable for the continuous and comprehensive management of a broad range of personal health services for which the NP/PA is educationally prepared and for which competency has been maintained, with physician supervision and collaboration. These duties include serving as a direct provider of health care services and team leader providing quality, compassionate and culturally sensitive care for patients.
Pursue a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) or a similar degree (4 years)
Become a registered nurse (RN) and garner experience (1 – 2 years)
Pursue a graduate degree in nursing (1.5 – 4 years)
